Well, the process of my Rebrand is complete… Now it’s time to go over what all my past, current, and new clients can expect from Ruhe Liebe Photography going forward. In this article, I’ll be discussing everything from pricing and style changes to a sneak peek into my monthly plans for charity donations and events.

Updated Pricing and Package Additions

With the new year came time to let the “new me” shine. This meant updating my pricing to reflect my growing knowledge, expanding expertise, and better client experiences. Below, you’ll see my general pricing guide and updated booking terms. Then, we’ll get more into the “why” of it all.

General Pricing:

• Hourly: $375/hr
• Mini-Sessions: $200/session
• Small Events (4-6 hrs): $1,500+
• Large Events (6-8+ hrs): $3,000+

Package Additions:

• Videography Package Addition w/ Lion’s Den Productions (cost dependent on scope of work)
• Additional Outfit Changes: $10 per additional outfit change (2 included in each session)
• Travel (Domestic – beyond 150 miles from base): $100 for an additional 150 miles of round-trip travel
• Travel (Destination – beyond 300 miles from base): $600+ for bookings requiring travel by plane/hotel stay

Specialized Services:

• Brand/Model Collaborations: 50% off total booking cost (studio fees may apply)
• Recurring Branding Services: $1,500+ per month (depending on scope of work)
• Remote Branding Services: $800+ per booking (depending on scope of work)

Remember, this is just a general outline of my current pricing – but can serve as a really good tool to help you be able to calculate your estimated cost. Each booking is unique, though, and requires a bit more investigation to be able to come up with a more solid, accurate cost. As I grow my client base and expand my knowledge in all things Photography (posing, style tips, camera settings, lighting, upgraded editing software and equipment, a higher attention to detail, shorter wait times between finished galleries, etc.) – I want to ensure that my prices reflect all of those upgrades as well. Raising my pricing isn’t a selfish decision though, as it is helping me to continue giving back to my clients and community, investing in even better equipment, hosting events (something I’d love to dive into a bit more), and so on.

Updated Booking Terms & Important Notes

General Terms & Conditions

All booking inquiries will be officially put into my calendar once your deposit &/or total invoice are paid. With respect to any current or future clients, bookings are NOT secured until the minimum payment for your desired photoshoot has been paid for AND received.

At your photo session, please maintain kind and professional attitudes and behaviors, and be mindful of the safety of yourself and any other people who may be present during your shoot.

Ruhe Liebe Photography reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any and all bookings if these terms – at minimum – are not met.

Cancellation/Rescheduling

While I understand that emergencies and unexpected things come up sometimes, please let me know about these issues as early as possible to avoid any rescheduling issues or loss of your deposit. Cancellations and reschedules are only accepted on a case-by-case basis and refunds are typically only given for unforeseen issues and emergencies.

All cancellations or reschedules must be made a week or more prior to your desired/scheduled photoshoot date. Late cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows are subject to incurring up to a 25% rescheduling/cancellation fee. This fee must be paid in full before your next inquiry or booking will be accepted.

Missed Payments

If you think you may need more time to pay an upcoming balance or payment to your total invoice, please reach out as soon as you become aware. Communication is key!

If no communication attempts are made and a payment is missed, your invoice will increase by 25% per month that the payment is not received.

All remaining balances must be paid by the start of your scheduled photoshoot. Failure to pay this balance can result in a cancellation/rescheduling fee and loss of your scheduled shoot date. No refunds are guaranteed for these types of situations, so be sure stay on top of your invoice and payment plans.

Booking Inclusions & Requirements

Booking Inclusions

All bookings made with Ruhe Liebe Photography include the following;

• Editing rate
• Travel up to 150 miles (round-trip)
• Up to 2 outfit changes
• Minimum photo delivery of 30/hr.
• Minimum photo delivery of 15/half-hr.
• High-resolution digital gallery
• Custom welcome packet & timeline

Booking Requirements

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable process for both of us, each booking made with Ruhe Liebe Photography requires;

• Minimum age of 16+ with a guardian signature/consent, or 18+ without
• Deposit of 25-50% depending on the size and scope of your booking. In some cases, the entire invoice may be required (usually for bookings 1hr or less).
• Regardless, your shoot will not be officially booked until the minimum retainer or invoice is paid and your contract has been signed.
• All questionnaires/required documents and forms must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your shoot date/time.

For Remote Bookings: Please note that each of these kinds of bookings are unique to your specific vision, desired outcome, and the rigor of work that is required to make those things happen. There might be a slight variation in pricing based on these factors. Travel – Explanation & Terms

All bookings made with Ruhe Liebe Photography include complimentary travel up to 150 miles (round-trip). For domestic bookings, paying the additional fee will add an additional 150 miles to that limit. Any bookings outside of a 300-mile radius are then considered a “Destination” booking and will require travel by plane and hotel stay (within reason).

Fees associated with Destination bookings are subject to change, but give a general idea for estimated costs related to the travel + stay portion within your invoice. Real costs will be accurately shown in your personal invoice.

Now that we’re past all the boring stuff…

I wanted to share some exciting news! I’ll dive a little bit more into detail about this in a separate blog – but I’m so excited to announce that Ruhe Liebe Photography is committed to giving back in the year of 2026! If you’re a follower of mine over on Instagram or Threads, you’ll probably be able to guess what I’m about to say, butttt…..

Each month, Ruhe Liebe Photography will be – at minimum;

• Hosting monthly charity events within the state in collaboration with other local vendors/brand owners. These events can be anything from a free “makeover” for a local teacher,
• Donating a portion of its profits to hand-picked charities & non-profits throughout the country. This will be calculated by a percentage of the total monthly profit made. Meaning – the more I make, the more I give!
• If for some reason I am unable to do either, I’ll be alternating between free Branding and Portrait sessions for those months.
